Graduated 1962 CLS and chose the Marines over Ohio State. Did 6 years (18months in Vietnam). Managed a truck parts manufacturer (Transit Parts Co), sold my interest and bought 2 railroads. Reenlisted in Ohio National Guard, transferred to Alabama National Guard, taught tactics, Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and Abrams M 1 weapons systems, and operations. Retired from the Military with 28 years service. Worked in the railroad industry for 21 years training engineers, etc. and operations management. Retired from that industry. In Alabama built and managed rail operations for TRICO and NUCOR Steel Corp where I am still employed. Planning to retire in 2017 for 3rd time! Married, 2nd time, with 4 children, 5 grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Our oldest, Tim, lives now in Whitefish, MT, moved from Vero Beach, FL. One daughter, Heidi, lives in Newport, RI, and two, Jodie and Ed, live in Alabama with me and my wife, Charlene. (11/30/2016)
