After graduation from Latin I attended the University of Notre Dame graduating with Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration Degrees. Since this was during the wonderful Era of Ara and since the Notre Dame scheme of things then allowed graduate students better seats than recent graduates, the graduate school deal was too good to pass up.
While at Notre Dame I believe I set a record for the variety of paying student jobs: the best was working Football Training Table and feasting on the left overs.
Upon graduation I moved to Wilmington, Delaware and a marketing job in the Textile Fibers Dept of DuPont. There I learned how to say the full corporate name: Eleuthere Irenee du Pont de Nemours and Company in a single breath. I also learned about a true hero of the Declaration of Independence-Caesar Rodney. His midnight ride to Philadelphia while afflicted with cancer allowed him to cast the deciding Delaware vote on the Declaration. To this day Delaware license plates display the phrase "The First State."

The next move was to Niagara Falls, New York, then the Honeymoon Capital. So I got married. I worked for a specialty chemical company and traveled 1/3 of the time. I had another dose of American History since President Millard Fillmore is still the area's favorite son. And on the Canadian side of the Niagara River the British claim to have won battles in the War of 1812! The company was subsequently purchased by a European Company whose name I forget.
I moved to Chicago and joined Baxter Travenol in Technical Administration working for the man and the company that invented flexible bags for blood and IV administration.
Most recently I spent 12 years working for a Management Consulting Company dedicated to serving family owned companies with up to $5MM a year in sales. After the Financial Crisis hit, the firm went out of business. And I now work as a Marketing Management Consultant to Performing Arts Organizations.
For hobbies I regularly go to a health club and thank God for my health, dance tango 1-2 times/wk, and work on-camera in film. If only Mr. Malik could see some of the scenes that survived the cut. My time at Latin helped to form my Catholic faith and opened the door to the next step of life. For that I am grateful.
