Stan Osenar
Stan passed away November 6, 2001 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby surrounded by his wife, sons, and other loved ones.
Stan attended Cathedral Latin from St. Vitus. During his Junior year, he was editor of the editorial page of The Latineer and co-editor-in-chief of the paper during his Senior year. Everyone appreciated Stan for his intellectual abilities and sense of humor. Stan was an honors student and a member of the National Honor Society. He was chairman of the Cultural Arts Committee and a member of the World Affairs Committee. Stan attended John Carroll University and was a contributor to the University’s publication, The Carroll Quarterly.
Stan was born in Cerklje, Slovenia. He lived in Chicago before moving to Willoughby Hills where he was a 20 year resident. Stan was employed by Medical Mutual of Ohio for 20 years and retired as their Director of Corporate Planning and Business Development.
Surviving Stan are his wife of 34 years, Jerry Ann, and his sons Paul, Andrew, and Alex. Stan is buried at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
